Nigerian capital (FCT)– educational employees (Staff) Union of Universities, ASUU, can these days take a final judgment on whether or not it'll proceed on strike over unresolved problems with the national or not. unofficial report had it that the union met yesterday at AN covert venue to require call on the looming strike.
But once Vanguard sought-after confirmation of the meeting from the National President of the union, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi last night, he merely invited our Correspondent to attend a press making known at Labour House these days. however data had it that Chairmen of state chapters of the union met in Nigerian capital, with the national leadership wherever they collated and reviewed the results of the vote they conducted in their separate chapters.

The chairmen whom majority of them had approved a nationwide strike, deliberated aboard the National council, inflammatory disease the length the strike would last. Recall that the inflammatory disease had met at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi on the twenty second and twenty third Gregorian calendar month, 2017, and deliberated extensively on problems arising from the 2009 ASUU/FGN agreement, the 2013 MoU and different connected problems and set to conduct a vote at the branch congresses on consecutive line of action.
