Official Processing of Certificates/Transcripts Guideline at The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State, Nigeria


The Federal Polytechnic Offa certificates processing time frame and collection has taken new dimension: Certificates processing and collection period as taken new shape at Federal Polytechnic Offa, Students can file-in and submit requirements for transcripts/certificates/testimonials. In the past, it takes 4 weeks for students to collect their testimonials/student transcripts and take three (3) months for collection of certificates.
The changes in leadership in this institution lead to change in administrative guideline for processing time frame. All sub-unit heads under registry complied with new policies for the progress of the institution. The Federal Polytechnic Offa produces both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) every year. Collection of certificates/Transcripts is a common business of the Federal Polytechnic Offa. The academic office is a sub-unit under registry of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, is charged with the responsibility for certificates, transcripts, and testimonials processing at The Federal polytechnic Offa. The newly designed templates guideline for collection of Certificates, official Transcripts and other means of verification exercise for their alumina has great positive impact compared to the past in terms of collection time frame and originality.
The new rules and guidelines was approved the Federal Polytechnic registrar which had yield positive impact on both alumina and the administrative staff under registry unit.
The new guideline as follow;
Student’s alumina required the following materials to complete processing of Official transcripts, Certificates, and employer verification exercise respectively.
1 Alumina is expected to pay sum N5, 500.00 for collection of ND certificate
2 Alumina is expected to pay sum N5, 500.00 for collection of ND certificate
3 Alumina is expected to pay sum of N2500 for Transcript process to other institutions or employers within Nigeria


4 Alumina is expected to pay carrier fee by hand via academic office registry unit. Carrier Fees depend on carrier type with respect to distance and sending packages. For example, Let review NIPOST break down for better understanding and as shown in the table below.
Using the table in above, Its implies that transcript process to other institutions or employers outside Nigeria range from NGN13,000 -NGN23000 with respect to regional distance (country  destinations). Therefore, student can determine the best carrier at free will because the higher the price the faster the delivery of the consignment / Transcripts.  
 Summarized Guideline for processing Certificate/Transcript/Testimonial at The Federal Polytechnic Offa
1. Make two photo-copies each of your (ND/HND) last semester statement results
2. 2 clear passport size is required and to be attached with your application form/letter(s) as part of required document for official processing. This only applicable to official certificate processing only
3.  Generate RRR for ND and HND from Remiter Official website using either inter-switch platform OR Master Card/Visa/Verve on ATM Machine OR Visit any bank branches but I can recommend UBA over others Banks for  remiter payment platform because the UBA bank officers always be of great assistance on remiter matters. You need to generate RRR number before heading to the UBA branches.
4. Alumina is expected to pay sum N5, 500.00 for collection of ND certificate also, sum N5, 500.00 for collection of HND
5. Print out separate (ND and HND) remitter receipts from Remitter official website or Collecte Remitter receipts from UBA Bank
6. Next, Visit Fedpoffa bursary unit on main or mini campus to convert Remitter receipt(s) to school receipt. The Original copy will be collected from Bursary unit after issuance of receipts
7. Next Visit Academic Office at Main Campus, staple together, the original receipt given from Bursary unit, ND testimonial, last semester result, 2 passport, and application letter. You don’t need to write request letter, Letter template will be provided at registry Office (Academic Office) to submit all required document in above.
8. Finally, submit your documents for official processing with all requirement stated in above.
Official Processing Days
NOTE: After 14days, your transcript will be signed by The School registrar, sealed and forward to the destination of your choice. Moreso, after your final submission, its take two week (14days) to complete all processing  and  forward your request transcript from The Office of the Registrar Federal Polytechnic Offa to the destination of your choice
The collection of certificates is different from transcripts and testimonials, once you submit your application for the collection of certificates (ND and HND) at registry unit, its take 6-8 weeks to process your certificates. This implies that your certificates will be ready for collection after 6-8 weeks because the processes take in batches.
The process of Testimonial and students transcript (Statement results for students) take 14 days, after submission of required documents to Office of the registrar (Academic Office), Official processes take 14days. This implies that your statement/testimonial will be ready for collect after 14day (2 weeks).
Only graduates (ND or HND) without any academic issue will be able to collect results or certificate with the procedure stated in above. If you have any issue result denier, Complaint to your HoD  (Head of Department), your HoD will review your academic records via office of Exam officer. You may write a letter through your Head of Department and forward it to registrar if necessary.

  3. This process is manual. Why cant it be fully automated to submit all and transcript send to destination.? This era in online
