FEDPOFFA will Award B.Tech:-Resource Visitation Panel From FUTMINNA Access Science and Engineering Laboratories

 The Federal Polytechnic Offa constituted committee for the propose of affiliate B.Tech award from Federal University of Technology Minna few weeks ago. The committee had worked in collaboration with Management of Federal Polytechnic Offa by generating feedback on the progress making with the FEDPOFFA proposal to FUT Minna.
The outcome of the committee under the administration of Dr. Lateef Olatunji yield positive result which lead the acceptance of the proposal for the award of B.Tech affiliate programs. The Federal University of Minna set-up sub-set teams for the resource visitation to The Federal Polytechnic Offa. This is to verify both physical and human resources at The Federal Polytechnic Offa. The Federal University of Technology Minna had standard approved by National Universities Commission (NUC) and with primary motive to bridge Gap between FUT Minna and FEDPOFFA inline with NUC standard.
The bi-lateral agreement of FUT Minna and FEDPOFFA lead to resource visitation which serve as per-preparation for the propose accreditation by NUC in the nearest future. On the 14th August 2017, resource team arrived The Federal Polytechnic Offa to access resources available for the proposed B.Tech program. The team checked in over weekend and commenced resource visit on Monday 15th August 2017. The team had successfully verified all human resources like staff profiles by scrutinizing all academic files and approve those suitable for the propose affiliate programs.
All department at Faculty of Engineering were involved Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, and Computer Engineering respectively. Other Department on campus all covered in Faculty of Science and Technology and Applied Science. The participants department include Science and Laboratory Technology (the Most giant department at Federal Polytechnic Offa) , Computer Science, Library and Information and Mass Communication Department.
According to Dean of Center for Continuous Education (CCE) Mrs. Aliyu added that other faculties will soon key in for affiliate programs from Amodu Bello University (ABU) Zaria which will cut across management courses like Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Accounting and many more.
Mrs. Aliyu lead the resource visitor from Federal University of Technilogy Minna to Faculty of Engineering while Dr. E.M. IGBINEHI (Director, Academic Planning  Unit) lead other sub-team to Faulty of Science and Technology for the resource inspection of Laboratories.
During resource visit to Faculty of Engineering, The resource team discovered alot of resources suitable for warding of B.Tech program and discard few resource that can hindrance smooth running of the affiliate program inside Faculty of Engineering. There are action and reaction from the FUT Team leader in respect of resources available of which the secretary of the team took note of all observations. All HOD(s) from school of Engineering present, Dean of School of Engineering and all academic staff (Lecturers, Technologists and Instructors) welcome the FUT Minna resource team. The Dean of Engineering Engr. Salaudeen took the resource team round faculty of Engineering Offices, Laboratories, Workshops and Stores and supported by all HOD(s).
