Mother and son witness peoples lamentation about Baba Sango live before death. An old man said that he had forecast-ed the coming of angel of death for Baba Sango and his informed him to make sacrifice to the gods. First Born of Baba Sango is an Engineer while the 2nd born is a chartered Accountant. The Mother of the school boy received the sock and realized the important of Education for child future. She went back home with her son. She said to me" Omo Poly! I regret for not yield to your advice"
Mother sent school boy back to school and told me that his son will attempt O-level once and pass in fly colour..I replied .Amen...But your son need external coaching. She replied that" External coaching ke! Omo Poly shine your face..My son will attempt special center" . I told her that " Don't commit another expensive mistake on this sch boy carrier again because he need fundamental knowledge which will make him perform well when he enter higher Institution, as for me, I graduated with Upper classification"
She replied " you! upper classification without job, no girl friend, every day you carry tester and screw driver like NEPA repairing faulty electronics and mending wired, why not even learn Radionic of Electrician"
I shake my head and smile, I relied, You always prompt me for endless stories., I learn it at road-side also in while studying in Polytechnic. I don't have time for ladies that was why you see no ladies with me anyway, I wish your son is a lady, I could tutor her better.
She (Mother of the school boy) said " You of all people... I heard when other poly girls that lives opposite your room mocking you, that your body was inactive when they seduced you..I could see reason why you are alone"
I replied..Mama school, leave Poly girls alone, they were not taught above seduction in polytechnics...KoSORO!. Your son carrier is a major concern now and use the good part of my lifestyle.
Few months later, the sch boy resumed back to school but he had lost a year. With external coaching support, he school graduated with 9 credit in one sitting. The mother was happy and later thank me so my unflinching support. I later advice her again, since your son passed his science subjects therefore, allow him to study Engineering or Science at any Polytechnics or University in Nigeria but if you want your son to be practically grounded...He should go to Polytechnic especially..FEDPOFFA.
She replied "Omo Poly! hum..You can't do without running your mouth...Thanks for the advice,,,I will not deviate from your advice.
Few days later, she asked a question that" You are good in Engineering field work but why are you so poor in scolding ladies...were you not taught in Polytechnic on how to date on campus? ..See me ..see another gbam! gbam!!
I kept imaging things in my mind...that I wish there is a course in Nigeria Polytechnic or University called "Dating Engineering Technology"..I could have advice his son to apply...
