Few days ago, FedpoffaConnect Admin (Engr. Tech. Alabi Abdulateef Olatunde) published an article subject to The Federal Polytechnic Offa B. Tech award in affiliate with Federal University of Technology, Minna. The lead team Dr Engr. Abdul (Deputy Rector Academic) and Dr. E.M. IGBINEHI (Director, Academic Planning Unit) made a resource visitation on Friday 11th , 2017 after elaborate meeting with all HOD(s) at School of Engineering.
All sitting HOD(s), Engr. Abikoye Head of Mechanical Engineering, Dr. Engr. Kadiri K. O. Head of Electrical/Electronic Engineering Department, Dr. Engr. Balogun Head of Civil Engineering, and Engr. H. J. Onawola Head of Computer Engineering set touring platform for the Federal Polytechnic Offa Management team by accessing all laboratories in faculty of Engineering. The resource visitation to to ensure that Faculty of Engineering, Federal Polytechnic meet the needful and requirements for the award of B. Tech program in affiliate with Federal University of Technology, Minna.
The resource visitation by the management of the Federal polytechnic Offa occurred as a result of planing visit slated on Monday 13th August 2017 for the preparation of affiliate programs that will take off at Federal Polytechnic Offa soon.
The Management of Federal Polytechnic had approved the visitation panel from Federal University of Technology in for readiness for affiliate programs inline National University Commission (NUC) National Board of Technical Education (NBTE) guidelines.
All HOD(s) from School of Engineering " Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering" had brief meeting with all concerned academic staff to continue with the assignment designated individually in readiness for these programs. According to eye-witness by Engr. Tech. Alabi Abdullateef from Department of Computer Engineering authenticated this new development on Friday 11th 2017 and also said that the visitation panel will arrive on campus on Monday 13th 2017 inline with new directive from the HOD computer Engineering "Engr. H. J. Onawola subject to internal memorandum and concluded meeting with the Federal Polytechnic Management.
