According to oral interview conducted on our recent admitted students at various universities in Nigeria claimed that their fellow JAMBITES students set out academic treats in various course work through counter leadership. This attitude was propagated by various lecturers who did not buy interest of Direct entry student to set high record over JAMBITES students. Every lecturers believed that ND/NCE students perform better than JAMBITES students as a result of their experiences obtained from Nigeria Polytechnics/Colleges of Education.
The introduction of B. Tech/B.Ed and M. Tech/M.Ed at various Polytechnics/Colleges of Education is the answer to this dichotomy facing Nigeria Polytechnics/Colleges of Education in Nigeria. This is inline with statement reveal by The Executive Secretary of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Engr Dr Nuru A. Yakubu which narrated that "We have empirical evidence that shows that in many Universities of Technology, the students that graduate with the highest; mostly First Class and Second Class Upper degrees, are actually holders of ND"
